It's been on my mind lately how it seems that my piece "Fairy?" has over 300 views, while my most proud works have under 50 views, in addition to being featured and so on, and I can't help but see it as a strange fact; but a fact nonetheless..

Also, noone actually commented on Fairy while other works have comments, but not viewers. It's like a non-sensical circle of the internet being made to annoy me when it comes to my artistic submissions, but then again you can't force people to enjoy things, and also it seems that you can't really judge the skill or meaning of the art purely from a pageview counter.
Not that that fact stops me short of checking it obsessively for about a week after it's submission; I guess I am in a sense on the public's leash, it's not that my art is the best, nor that i expressly -need- it to be seen as such. But rather that it's something I've done, something with feelings and emotions embedded in it, something I made for a reason and something I made with a purpose.

It's the kind of thing I figure it's logical for any sane human to want to share, right?
No? Damn.

Either way, I'm off to look up more of my slight aquaintances DA pages, look at their submissions of pictures of leaves they saw once and thought of "Oh.. look.. leaf" before taking the picture and posting it; only to attain over 400 views on a leaf again and again.
It's the basis of this small rant, it's not as some would say "Emo" Rather a.. Proof of concept? DA seems to work on a kind of Chaos theory concept at times when it comes to whom get any "fame". But when you think about it, most of us sit around watching the frontpage's "Popular" category far more than "Newest" anyway.

Anywho! That's it, rant-esque thing done for a while, now it's off to work on more stuff to be ignored!
I guess atleast that means I do it for myself though, which is a weak honour to cling to ^-^
